The purchase of self-contained gas springs, but especially nitrogen spring systems, is a matter of trust. All these systems are covered by the Pressure Equipment Directive and must comply with it. Unfortunately, there are many suppliers of nitrogen spring systems who do not comply with the legal requirements. Please play it safe, because you as the operator are responsible for the safety-related condition of your work equipment and systems requiring monitoring.
